Chris Brown at the 2015 BET Awards
Just last week Chris Brown's home was invaded, a month prior a naked woman setup camp inside of his home all while he battles for joint custody of his daughter Royal and now this: he has been barred from leaving the Philippines. Yes, it looks like C Breezy has been ordered not to leave the country. Wednesday morning Brown was stopped while trying to board a private jet to get to Hong Kong for another concert.

According to the official Philippines News Agency this is all due to a dispute of contract. Brown, 26, performed a concert as planned, but was held for supposedly failing to appear for a performance last New Year's Eve and it's said that he must pay back monies to the promoter for that event.Yikes!

According to the Bureau of Immigration Brown and his promoter John Michael Pio Roda could get a clearance certificate that would allow them to leave IF the Department of Justice consented.

Johanna Colon, 6 years old, owned the stage during her first and only performance. Johanna's mother, Elissa Colon, posted a video of her daughter tap dancing to Aretha Franklin's "Respect" on her Facebook page, but had no idea that people aside from family and friends would take to the video and make it go viral.

Little Johanna already has lots of personality and definitely commands respect. Check out the video below.

Summer Jam 2015 Ends in Choas

"When fans realized tickets were not available at the box office, a small number of people created an unsafe environment, and for the safety of all guests, the New Jersey State Police were on scene to disperse the crowd. The gates were closed at that time. No further entry was permitted into the event," the radio station said in a statement.

The Hot 97 Summer Jam 2015 at MetLife Stadium was definitely one to remember. Although I did not attend, I got a feel for the happenings via SnapChat. The concert appeared to be packed out and the performers supplied the needed entertainment for concertgoers.

There were Snaps of performances by and sing-alongs to Kendrick Lamar, Chris Brown and Big Sean. There were clips of Lil Kim, Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj backstage. Soon those happy and envious Snaps were flipped.

There were Snaps of concertgoers cursing out of frustration in response to not being able to enter the venue. Some even snapped photos of their tickets and themselves outside of the gates. It was not pretty.

According to many media articles, the New Jersey State Police blocked gates outside of the MetLife Stadium as a protective measure to tame an angry and unruly crowd trying to get inside. Tear gas was used to disperse them as well as armored state police vehicles blaring a piercing loud sound to gain cooperation.

There are plenty of photos and video footage on Twitter and Instagram showing large crowds, trash about the streets and barricades overturned in the stadium's parking lot. There are also photos of police in riot gear with large military-style vehicles.

Those who legally paid for tickets will be refunded according to Emmis New York, owners of the radio station Hot 97.

Artists You SHOULD Be Listening To Pt 1: Morisha Danee'

During my college years I found myself moving further and further away from the mainstream. I couldn’t stand watching TV so I became an avid watcher of online web series and vlogs. It pained me to listen to the radio, so I listened to playlists made up of oldies and all the greats of 90’s music that was until I came across Black&SexyTV.

Black&SexyTV not only produces some of the greatest content in web series (and hopefully very soon on television), but the tracks to each episode are beyond dope and are always from artists of substance like Morisha Danee`.

Morisha is an artist, arranger and songwriter from Country Club Hills, IL who is striving to live her dreams. This talented young lady gives off a soulful vibe with her soft, sexy melodic ballads that will always put you in a mood.

Her song Baby Baby is used as the intro song to Black&Sexy’s Becoming Nia, but her song Favorite Fantasy is what drew many others in, myself included. So who is Morisha Danee` and why should you check her out?

On Tuesday it was announced that Prince will be doing a Rally 4 Peace in Baltimore on Mother’s Day. The surprise concert will feature Prince, his band 3RDEYEGRL, and other music artists.

Tickets will be on sale today at 5pm on LiveNation.com. Organizers hope this concert will be a “catalyst for pause and reflection following the outpouring of violence that has gripped Baltimore and areas throughout the US.” Those who attend the concert are asked to wear something gray as a tribute to all those lost in the violence that inspired the performance.

Prince will also be debuting his protest song, Baltimore, that was written last week in response to the aftermath of the death of Freddie Gray. The song has yet to be released but the lyrics have been shared online.

Brokechella 2015 Flyer
As weekend two of Coachella approaches, people are still trying to figure out a way to get to the event or where to stay. For those not attending, they are wishing one day to afford access or for the prices to magically decrease. For those who are too cheap or too broke look no further Brokechella is here.

Brokechella has been around since 2011 in Downtown, Los Angeles after it was realized that the event fell on the same weekend as Coachella. It started out as a popular event called Community Pool, where bands, comedians and a variety of acts would come together to share their talents with fellow Los Angeles artists. The event grew more popular over the years, consistently outgrowing its venues. It started out at a coffee house in Venice, moved to a black box theater in Westwood, then a multi-story club Downtown, and finally to a huge warehouse space in Downtown LA.

This year, Brokechella will be located at 590 Santa Fe Ave, in the heart of Downtown. There will be four stages, a World Initiative, comedy and variety stage, a bigger than ever vendor fair, more puppychella, giant jenga puzzles, and so much more.

All The Feels: Rihanna Performs BBHMM

Rihanna is taking what's her and giving the '90's so much life while doing it!

Rihanna debuted her single live at the iheart radio music festival. Rihanna had teased that she would don a Lil Kim inspired outfit when she posted a pic of 'Kim with the hashtag #BBHMM. Rihanna was Versace'd out from head to toe during the performance and definitely payed proper respects to Lil Kim during this performance. What do you think see any resemblance to '90's Lil Kim and Rihanna?

All I kept thinking was of Lil Kim's line in song 'Get Money': so you wanna buy diamonds and Versace boots!

My J. Cole Story

I am a huge J. Cole Fan. I don't "STAN" for him or any of those other eclectic terms fans use today. However, I have been a fan of J. Cole since I first heard the song "College Boy" off his mixtape "The Come Up". When I first heard this song in 2009, I though it was the soundtrack to my undergrad college life. The song was full of struggle of college, all the ups and downs, and questions of what the hell am I really doing here?

I patiently waited for his freshman album that would come after too many interviews and classic mixtapes. Disappointed wouldn't be the right word because singles like " Work Out" and "Can't get Enough". Although they were great radio hits they did not speak to the poetic genius I saw in one of my current favorite rappers. While J. Cole put out those solely for radio hits also he also supplied content with "Lost Ones" and "Breakdown". After buying Sideline Story, I again patiently waited for Born Sinner to drop. This was the J. Cole I had been waiting for. I remember when I first heard "Trouble" combining a sample song from my all time favorite movie "Imitation of Life" and one of my favorite rappers on a track. I supported one of my favorite artists as many in my generation often don't do. I remember scrimping and saving to pay to see J. Cole Club Nokia on tour and again at the Nokia Theatre. I supported by purchasing tour tickets and albums. When Forrest Hills Drive dropped, I bought too bought this album and even listened to the minutes long credits at the end. I patiently waited to see J. Cole again but this time at the Staples Center along with other acts. To my surprise, I couldn't get tickets, the words SOLD OUT flashed across my Live Nation screen. For the first time since J. Cole has dropped his freshman album, I would be missing his tour.

While I still support J. Cole, I am a hip-hop fan like any other and still want to maintain a just a little of the artist for myself. I want my favorite rapper to succeed. I want everyone to hear his lyrics. But with success comes Sold Out shows and higher ticket prices that sometimes we as fans can't afford. J. Cole is a case where my favorite rapper is now everyone's favorite rapper!
