 | On Tuesday it was announced that Prince will be doing a Rally 4 Peace in Baltimore on Mother’s Day. The surprise concert will feature Prince, his band 3RDEYEGRL, and other music artists. Tickets will be on sale today at 5pm on LiveNation.com. Organizers hope this concert will be a “catalyst for pause and reflection following the outpouring of violence that has gripped Baltimore and areas throughout the US.” Those who attend the concert are asked to wear something gray as a tribute to all those lost in the violence that inspired the performance. Prince will also be debuting his protest song, Baltimore, that was written last week in response to the aftermath of the death of Freddie Gray. The song has yet to be released but the lyrics have been shared online. |
