Jessica Lange Still Acting and Apart of AHS

“If Ryan came to me and said, ‘Would you want to do a small character for a couple episodes?’ I would absolutely say yes if I liked it. This was a great collaboration, so I would love to keep working with him.”
- Lange said during a recent interview for TheWrap’s Emmy magazine.
The 66-year-old actress may no longer be a lead in the American Horror Story series, but she is still working with Ryan Murphy. Lange is returning to the big stage for a Broadway staging of “Long Day’s Journey Into Night, produced by Murphy. She will be play the role of Mary Tyrone, a recovering morphine addict. Previews will begin in March 2016 at the Roundabout Theatre Company in March 2016.

As previously reported by 2blkgrls the fifth season of AHS, “American Horror Story: Hotel,” returns to FX in October and will star Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Matt Bomer, Lady Gaga and Sarah Paulson.

Danielle Brooks of "OITNB" Joins Broadway's The Color Purple

Danielle Brooks who is famously known for her role as Tasha “Taystee” Jefferson on the hit series “Orange is the New Black” has landed another amazing role: Sophia in broadway’s, “The Color Purple.”

The play is based on Alice Walker’s book of the same title. The play was also made into a movie with Oprah Winfrey in the role of Sophia.

The play begins on November 9th at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.
