Straight Outta Compton, which grossed $67.7 million worldwide, is already coming to homes even after the crappy newscasts about how the film didn't cause riots or have any violent reactions. Pause. It has been reported that the hip-hop film rights have been secured by FX Companies and will air on FX’s group of channels — FX, FXX, FXM and VOD platform FXNow. Of course some of the feels will be lost as things must be edited for television, but if you don't mind the funny word changes that may be made you'll get to see it again and again when it's outta theaters. |

Janelle Monáe never seems to disappoint. From fashion to music she defies the "norm" and stays true to herself. If she hasn't already received enough love she definitely has been and will be receiving more after her amazing performance on NBC’sToday.
Monáe performed "Yoga," "Tightrope," and “Hell You Talmabout.”
Yes you've read right, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams has made history. She is now the first woman to appear on the cover of Krave magazine; the first in the history of the fashion magazine. Williams, who isn't shy about showing off her curves, looks absolutely stunning.
She's come a ways from her young, dingy days as RHOA newbie. As we all know she is on Dish Nation and just last year released a song title "Flatline." In case you didn't know about "Flatline" check out the video below.

"We're so thrilled to announce the news of our bundle of joy, it's a dream come true." Finally! Real Housewives of Atlanta Star Kandi Burruss and husband Todd Tucker are expecting their first child together, finally. In case you are not one who follows RHOA, the two were struggling with conceiving and even visited specialists to explore other options. Not sure of the details and whether or not there was help in making it happen, but who cares, congratulations to them and expanding their family! WRITTEN BY: VIOLA CONSTANCE | @Voila_its_Viola
From the looks of things we have so much to look forward to in about 60 days. Luscious weighing up while he's serving his bid. Boo Boo Kitty still being a cougar continues with the cradle thievery. Cookie still strutting like the HBIC as always. And Vernon, well who knows. FOX has just released the first teasing sneak peek for season two of Empire. WRITTEN BY: VIOLA CONSTANCE | @Voila_its_Viola
Basketball Wives of LA season four premiered tonight and baby the drama hasn't died down at all! Jackie Christie is still on people's shit list, Draya Michele appears to be on her grown and sexy hustle, Brandi Maxiell is still Team Malaysia (I'm sorry I got nothing from her this first episode) and Malaysia Pargo is starting fresh in her new home in LA after her divorce. Promo advertisements showed that Shaunie O'Neal, who is executive producer of the show, and fan favorite Tami Roman will be joining the cast in recurring roles this season. That is where things will definitely heat up. Miami wives versus Los Angeles wives. Can't the coasts just be cool? Here's what got me, Mehgan James of Bad Girls Club (remember Mexico?) is a cast member. Where did she come from and why is she relevant to BBWLA? Anywhos, she's already rubbing folks the wrong way. Let me not tell it all. Just toon in when you need a ratchet fix. Patrice Curry and Angel Brinks will join the cast as recurring cast members as well. WRITTEN BY: VIOLA CONSTANCE | @Voila_its_Viola
Love & Hip Hop: New York will be back later this year with new drams and new cast members. And guess who is joining the cast? An actual artist that people actually know and remember who have hits and awards to show for it. Okay that wasn't too nice let me stop, but Remy Ma is joining season six and I am kind of excited. The show hasn't been supplying me with enough content to hold me. Maybe she can refresh the show and add back the element of hip hop.
That's a way to work your way back into the limelight. Aside from joining the show, Remy has recently performed at Hot 97’s Summer Jam, reuniting with rapper Fat Joe for their hit “Lean Back”. She's made all of that happen after serving six years in prison and only being out less than a year. Side-eye to some of previous cast member (what they doin'? Bullshittin'!). Not sure who else will pop up, but Rapper Papoose will also join the show.

Is it true? It is, it is! Everyone's 90s childhood comedian Kel Mitchell from "All That" and "Kenan and Kel" is returning to Nickelodeon. There had been some talk of the Good Burger star returning to television and now it has been confirmed by Mitchell himself. He will be starring in Nickelodeon's new show “Game Shakers”.
It's great to see him coming back to where it all began especially after the 2006 Internet death rumors. He has made appearances in voicing cartoon characters, but it's great to see him live and in the flesh on TV. Hopefully we can soon get a Kel Mitchell and Kenan Thompson (who is currently SNL's longest tenured cast member) reunion. Oh boy, I'm dizzy with nostalgia. "Game Shakers" is set to debut in September.

“If Ryan came to me and said, ‘Would you want to do a small character for a couple episodes?’ I would absolutely say yes if I liked it. Lange is returning to the big stage for a Broadway staging of “Long Day’s Journey Into Night, produced by Murphy. She will be play the role of Mary Tyrone, a recovering morphine addict. Kerry Washington has been casted as Anita Hill in the upcoming HBO movie, Confirmation. The film surrounds the 1991 Supreme Court confirmation hearing of Clarence Thomas in which Hill testified to being repeatedly sexually harassed by the then nominee. Hill testified on live national TV before Congress claiming she was the victim of sexual harassment while working for Thomas at the U.S. Department of Education. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Susannah Grant, Oscar-nominated screenwriter of Erin Brockovich, has signed on to write and executive produce the film. Washington is also an executive producer. HBO has released a first look at Washington as Hill in the TV movie. WRITTEN BY: VIOLA CONSTANCE | @Voila_its_Viola
