If you have lived under a rock, Bruce Jenner, both husband and father, had an interview with Diane Sawyer on 20/20 where he announced his decision to transition into a woman.
Bruce has not announced his new name as of yet. So for article purposes, he will still be referred to as Bruce Jenner. During the Diane Sawyer interview Bruce talked about how he always felt like a woman and has actually been on and off transitioning since the 1980's.
In the new E! series, the show will pick up where the interview left off. The special will star, Kris Jenner, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie, and Scott, who were all absent from the Diane Sawyer special.

The network promised the family’s “unfiltered reactions are surprising, thoughtful and ultimately compassionate and supportive.” And that the Kardashians are “hoping to help other families experiencing the same thing.”
The new E! show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce will air May 17th-18th.
