Marvel has an eye on filmmaker Ava DuVernay to direct one of its diverse superhero movies like Black Panther, starring Chadwick Boseman or Captain Marvel, both set to hit theaters in 2018.
DuVernay’s acceptance of the job would make her Marvel’s first African-American and first female director, which would be epic for the company.
DuVernay has some experience with comic book movies as she did PR work for Sam Raimi‘s “Spider-Man 2." That cunts enough for me!
