After 40 years the Golden State Warriors have done it again! Golden State fulfilled its promise to takeover Game 6 of the 2015 NBA Finals. The Warriors won the 2014-15 NBA championship with a 105-97 victory in Cleveland. The victory came after a regular season of 67 wins and a 83-20 compilation record from October until mid-June.
Stephen Curry, point guard and regular season MVP, stayed true to his words he shared in 09.
Curry definitely did his part and paced his team with skilled ball-handling and leadership allowing him to finish with 25 points, eight assists, five rebounds and three steals. He tied for team-lead in points with onetime reserve Andre Iguodala.
Of course the memes are already rolling out about King James being dethroned.
