The U.S. Postal Service announced a forever stamp in honor or the late Maya Angelou. On Tuesday, the USPS revealed the forever stamp honoring Angelou, featuring Angelou smiling along with a quote “A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.”
However, that quote does not belong to the late poet and author. The quote that accompanies Angelou's photo is actually a line that appeared in the 1967 children's book A Cup of Sun, by Joan Walsh Anglund.
