Extreme grief and almost inexplicable news has come from Kenya this weekend.
At Garissa University College, 148 students were shot in a terrorist massacre perpetrated by Al-Shabaab. Al-Shabaab has taken a recent foothold in Kenya. This islamic terrorist organization was responsible for the mall attacks in Nairobi, Kenya in 2013.
Recent reports indicate that these terrorists separated muslim and non-muslim students to carry out their attacks. When Kenyan officials finally responded to the call all four gunmen were killed.
Just days before Easter, the several hundred gathered at a Catholic Church in Garissa to mourn the dead. Military police patrolled the Church which had previously experienced bombings before.
