Election season for 2016 has officially taken off. President Obama, a historic president and time, will officially leave office in 2017.
The 2016 presidential election is significant because it will totally change the scope and landscape of politics and laws in the united states. In a recent Gallup poll, Americans see the economy and unemployment as the number one issue in the upcoming election. Followed by crime, religion, gay rights, terrorism, foreign aid, and immigration. The gallup poll also listed how people have little belief in a functioning government.
These will be key issues the candidate face in the primary and general elections. So far both Democrats and Republicans have thrown their hats into the ring.
Democratic Candidates include: Former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.
Republican Candidates include: U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (TX), U.S. Senator Rand Paul (KY), and U.S. Senator Marco Rubio.
