And why do you believe that? I take the quote as do not live for the acceptance or approval of others. I feel that is a major issue people have today and social media excels that. 3/30/2015 04:02:11 am
Because that is what we live for as a species. Without the approval of others, who would any of us be. We live hoping people would accept us so we can feel better about ourselves personally and even as a business figure. Unfortunately, as much as I hate social media, it's shaping the world for a better future.

I agree with you on the love/hate of social media as it is shaping the world, everyone uses social media in some form or fashion. However, I do not believe acceptance is what we live for as a species. The way you describe it in your last comment seems as though we, as a species, really have self-esteem issues and live for others to validate us. I'm sorry, but I personally do not live for acceptance and I know many other do not as well. There are many accomplished folks who could care less about being accepted and they've excelled by staying true to who they are and staying in their own lanes. Leave a Reply. |
